We stayed in the house during our bathroom mold removal, but had to move out when they found it in the air ducts. Del Mar's ocean air makes everything more complicated.

For small jobs, you can usually stay if they're using proper containment. But I'd recommend leaving if you have kids or anyone with allergies. Better safe than sorry.

It depends on the extent. Small, contained areas usually don't require evacuation. But extensive mold or if anyone has health issues, I always recommend temporary relocation.

I always tell tenants to stay elsewhere during mold remediation. It's not worth the health risk, and Del Mar's humidity can make the process take longer anyway.

We always set up containment barriers, but some spores can still escape. If it's more than one room or you have respiratory issues, find somewhere else to stay.

Most of my Del Mar clients choose to stay in a hotel during mold remediation. The ocean moisture makes the job more complex and take longer than inland areas.

Depends on the size of the job. Small bathroom mold? You can probably stay. Whole house or basement? Pack a bag. The coastal humidity in Del Mar doesn't help.

Professional remediation includes containment, but I still recommend sensitive individuals leave. Del Mar's location makes mold more persistent than other areas.

We stayed during our Del Mar mold job and regretted it. The smell was terrible and my wife's allergies went crazy. Next time we'd definitely get a hotel.

Customers ask me this all the time. I say if you can afford it, get a hotel room. The peace of mind is worth it, especially with Del Mar's moisture issues.

If there's mold in the walls where I'm working, I tell homeowners to leave. Even with masks and barriers, some exposure is inevitable during the work.

If the mold is in your ductwork, definitely leave. When we clean the system, spores get blown around despite our best efforts. Del Mar homes often have duct issues.

From an insurance standpoint, temporary living expenses are often covered for mold remediation. Check your policy - you might as well use the hotel coverage.

We won't do final cleaning until the family is back, but during active remediation, I'd recommend staying elsewhere if possible. Especially in humid Del Mar.

Health comes first. If there's any doubt, find another place to stay. I've seen too many people get sick trying to save money on hotel costs.
